In the event of bad weather, including snow & heavy rain, your service date will either be rescheduled within 72 hours or will be skipped for the week and picked up on your next normal service day. If your service date is missed due to the above scenario, you will still be charged for that week. Why? Because of disposal fees and labor for 2 weeks worth of waste. Your dogs don't stop using the yard just because we have to skip a week due to weather. Even with our crazy Colorado weather, there are few weeks that we ever have to miss and cannot reschedule for the same week.
All accounts are due at the beginning of each month. Check or cash is accepted as well as automatic payment via credit/debit card for your convenience.
All cancellations require a 24 hour advanced notice or the regular scoop fee will still be charged. If cancellation is due to vacation or yard work, please provide us with the date you would like service to stop as well as with the date you would like service to resume. If you would like to cancel service indefinitely, simply notify us in writing at firstname.lastname@example.org. Since we do bill at the beginning of each month, if cancellation of service is requested before the end of the month we will complete that month's service and no additional payment will be due. Some exceptions may apply.
In order to best serve you, please contact us ASAP with all changes in your account and billing information. This includes mailing address, service address, contact phone numbers, email address, credit card information, number of dogs in your household and any future dates you will not need service.
If you are dog sitting or have guests with dogs for 4 days or longer, you will be charged an additional $2 per dog per week for the extra waste clean-up. Please contact us ahead of time if this is the case, to ensure that you are appropriately charged for the extra time and disposal costs incurred by the Backyard Bomb Squad.
If your normal service day happens to fall on one of these holidays, your service day will be adjusted to either the day before or the day after normal service.
Fourth of July
There is a $10 fee for late payments. Once your account has reached 14 days past due, your service will be temporarily suspended. If your account becomes 30 days past due, service will be canceled and your account will be sent to a collections agency.
If you lock the gate to your back yard, the gate must be unlocked on your service day or a key or combo code must be provided to The Backyard Bomb Squad. If we are unable to service your yard due to a locked gate, you will still be charged for the visit because service was attempted.
If you are moving, please contact us ASAP with your new information. We will need your new address, last date of service at your old address and start up date at the new home. We will also need any details on the new yard including service instructions, back yard entry, gate locks or changes with dog arrangements.
Pricing is simply based on the number of dogs in your household or in your care at time of service. If you are dog sitting for 1 week or longer, you must include those dogs in your billing for those service dates. See Guest Dog Policy above.
Please call to suspend service if you will be gone for 1 week or longer and your dogs will not be staying on the premises while you are away. You will not be billed for skipped visits and your monthly bill will be adjusted accordingly. 24 hour advanced notice is required , but we prefer at least one week's notice for courtesy and to ensure suspended service.
Vicious or threatening dogs in the back yard are not acceptable. The Backyard Bomb Squad reserves the right to refuse service if they feel threatened at any time. If we are unable to service your yard due to your dogs, you will still be charged for that days visit since service was attempted. If the problem persists, The Backyard Bomb Squad also reserves the right to cancel service.
